About Us

I grew up on a farm in the Handhills of Alberta, a place I still love returning to. At nineteen I left for Nelson, BC, to snowboard, party, and figure it out. I fell into a kind of life I didn’t even know I was searching for. One wild, free and full of people who lived close to the earth. Nelson was where I was first introduced to wellness and the beginning of a healing journey that eventually led me to study holistic nutrition on Vancouver Island.

That education played a big role in my own healing. I had emotional work to do, especially around anxiety. I needed to regulate my nervous system and undo years of stress and late nights. Despite all the supplements and potions around the house, the one thing I always came back to was tea. Every morning I brewed a blend of nervines and adaptogens. Slowly my adrenals recovered, my nervous system softened and I started to feel grounded again. That small ritual changed everything and it felt like I was finally experiencing life clearly. I saw how powerful consistency could be and how deeply herbs could support that process.

That experience taught me what balance feels like and led me to the next chapter which was tending to my hormonal health. Since my very first period, they’d always been painful, but I never gave them the care they deserved. I’d take painkillers all day and push through. A few years ago, I decided that couldn’t be the norm anymore. I started blending teas to support my hormones and bring ease back to my cycle. Over time, I noticed real change as my period came with less emotional overwhelm and far less discomfort. Tea became a steady, simple way to care for myself, a ritual that worked.

I’ve always loved creating beautiful things, giving thoughtful gifts and finding small ways to care for myself and others. Altalune is my way of sharing that. Something real, simple and rooted in what’s helped me most. I’m so excited to share this with you. My hope is that these blends bring you, or someone you love, the same comfort, balance and joy they’ve brought me.
